How to Refer
Orangeville Pediatric Clinic accepts referrals by fax from any physician, midwife or nurse practitioner.
Our fax number is 844-929-1554.
We accept referrals for children residing in Dufferin County for any medical, developmental, or behavioural issue.
We do not provide or primary care and in most cases, care is returned to the family physician after the pediatric consultation.
Working as a Health Care Team
Thank you for allowing us to share in the care of your patients. We will confirm receipt of all referrals with a letter back to you within 2 business days that will include the expected wait time for your patient.
We strive to see urgent referrals within 1 week, semi-urgent referrals within 2-3 weeks, routine medical referrals within 4-6 weeks, and behavioural, developmental or mental health referrals within 4-6 months.
We will contact your patient directly to schedule their appointment. We will send a summary of your patient’s consultation with the pediatrician back to your office within 2 business days of their visit.
